WDC- The Maintenance of pumping Stations

Warwick District council is seeking to appoint a single contractor to carry out routine electrical maintenance and electrical repairs at the sewage pumping stations managed by Warwick District Council to ensure their effective operation. It is envisaged that a routine maintenance check list will be supplied by the Supervising Officer but should include recording hours run meter; recording ammeter reading; checking telemetry; checking lights; checking and cleaning floats; and checking operation of pumps by operating by hand.The Contractor will be required to undertake regular half-yearly visits to each plant for the purpose of inspecting, checking, testing and adjusting, cleaning, servicing or replacing any equipment or components and shall provide instruments necessary to carry out the works required together with incidental items as cleansing materials, lubricants, etc. Dry wells may require pumping out and the Contractor should have a suitable portable pump for stations which do not incorporate a sump pump.
