Nottingham City Council is seeking to appoint an organisation to provide a Breastfeeding Peer Support Service to pregnant and breastfeeding women resident in Nottingham City or registered with a Nottingham City General Practitioner.
The Provider shall deliver a quality, easily accessible peer-support service that offers both:
Targeted one to one support for women aged less than 25 years of age to address current age related inequalities in breastfeeding initiation and duration.
Group based peer support for all other pregnant and breastfeeding women, building on existing support groups and services including Sure Start Childrens Centres.
