description
Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking to enhance their support for children and young people across the borough via a new major transformation programme with an enhanced focus on early intervention and prevention that aims to reduce contacts and referrals to children's social care, and ultimately avoid children becoming looked after.
We plan to commission a service to provide support in developing low-level parenting skills to families covering such things as routines, boundaries, positive relationships, family communication; and reducing parental conflict. We would like providers to support families to create the best possible environment for children and young people to grow and develop within, ensuring the home is safe, secure and has a nurturing environment.
The service must be inclusive, consistent, and available across the borough. Delivery will be to individual families and required to meet the needs of all children, young people and their families including those with a neurodiversity and or SEND. Our focus will be very much on achieving positive outcomes for the families and not activity or outputs.
