Swansea Council (the Client) requires established and competent Contractors to undertake flooring work in both void (empty) and occupied (tenanted) properties and public buildings throughout the city and county of Swansea.Swansea Council requires the skilled and competent Contractors to undertake supply and fit Vinyl flooring/carpets and any other flooring, as per manufactures recommendations to various properties, including communal areas, within the boundaries of Swansea in accordance with the details set out or referred to in the contract particulars and specification.The Contractor will be responsible for supplying all necessary labour, plant, materials, and any specialist equipment, including access equipment, to complete the works.Tenderers are invited to apply for 1 or more Lots without restriction. There will be an opportunity in the Selection Questionnaire to state which Lot/s you are submitting a tender for. The Council’s intention is to enter into a Framework Agreement with 5 Provider/s per Lot unless fewer bids are received.The Contractor will provide services during normal working hours in accordance with the contract documents, where Normal working hours are: 08.00hrs – 18.00hrs Monday to FridayAll our Void properties are Gas capped and a number of Void properties have no electricity supply. Where this is no supply the contractor will be expected to provide an alternative provision where practical at no additional cost to the CouncilNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.3.
