Swansea Council Events Team require a contractor to undertake drainage works at Museum Park in Swansea to allow the green event space to drain properly, so that the space is fit for purpose to be used for a range of events including food festivals, concerts, mass participation runs and outdoor cinemas. The space is prone to flooding and we require drainage works to mitigate flooding & pooling water. The aim is to provide a long-term drainage solution that is compatible with the events programme and associated infrastructure, to Museum Park approx. Area 1- 4000sqm, Area 2 - 1500sqm. Works are required to enable drainage to take excess water away from the surface.Works need to be completed and ‘grass read. Please itemise any works/processes/treatments/additions options that might speed up the ‘grass ready’ date.• Primary drainage to agreed outfall• Secondary drainage to primary drainage• Remedial works required• Grass sowing as requiredNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
