Award of Kingdom Housing Association - Roofing Replacement Project 22/23

The replacement of 12 Roofs within the Coaltown of Wemyss area in Fife. Lochhead Row is comprises 7 properties that require to be fully replaced using the Sandtoft Neo Pantile. 62, 64 & 66 Main Street require to be fitted with the Sandtoft/Weinerberger Koramic 301 Plain Tile. 164 & 166 Main Street fall out with the conservation area so a manufacturer such as Redland/Marley can be used on these addresses however the choice of manufacturer will need to be agreed with KHA prior to commencement on-site. The colour chosen should be in keeping with the surrounding area.The sandtoft specification has been uploaded and must be followed (please note that the pitch of the roof is estimated). Given the delays with tiles, it is expected that the successful bidder will order materials directly after the pre-start meeting and provide lead times for these. The project is expected to run from August 2022 until February 2023.
