| The principal objective of the contract is to appoint a suitably qualified organisation to provide a weed control service consisting of three (3) applications per annum, to control weed growth in | streets, along traffic islands, footways/pavements, around roundabouts, including those out | with 30mph signs. In the main, these will include: |
| a) | Where a pavement is wider than the conventional measurements; | |
| b) | Along kerbs and walls; | |
| c) | A road made up of paviour sets; | |
| d) | Tree pits and raised sets in pavements; | |
| e) | Steps; | |
| f) | Central reservations; | |
| g) | All Interlinking lanes (interlinking lanes are the perimeter of each lane); |
Roundabouts and central reservations and the smaller traffic islands, out with 30mph signs.
