This notice relates to the construction of the National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland.

The building will be approx. 11,500m2 GIFA and sits on an 11 acre site.

The (NMIS) will be an industry-led international centre of manufacturing expertise where research, industry and the public sector work together to transform skills, productivity and innovation to attract investment and make Scotland a global leader in advanced manufacturing.

The new build facility will be a state of the art facility comprised of:

-The Digital Factory 2050- industry led centre for collaborative manufacturing research, technology and solution development.
-The Innovation Collaboratory (incorporating the ‘Forum’)- Industry led centre for manufacturing technology application and process development
-The Manufacturing Skills Academy- Scotland’s hub for manufacturing skills and education
-The “Forum”- providing links to business support, to the One Scotland Partners and external organisations.
