description

Yarborough Road

The project consists of the removal of the existing retaining walls and layby at the top of Whittons Park. This will then be replaced by a reinforced earth (plastic grids, imported fill) slope that ties into the park. The works will consist of the following disciplines, earthworks, drainage, surfacing, kerbing, footways, street lighting, lining, fencing and landscaping. The project has an agreed satellite compound at the base of the park to handle materials.

Ropewalk Gyratory

The project consists of the reconstruction/resurfacing of Ropewalk Gyratory outside Lincoln University from Brayford Wharf East to Centaur Road (Morrisons) to Brayford Way (McDonalds). As part of these works the signals will be refreshed by LCC with the civils elements such as new socket installation being undertaken as part of this contract. There will also be new kerb and footway works included in the package. The works will consist of the following disciplines, drainage, surfacing, kerbing, footways, street lighting and lining. It is expected that the main compound will be positioned on Beevor Street for both sites due to exiting hard standing being in place
