description
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Health Mission Mission is procuring health economic expertise to support aspects of its Dementia Challenge programme.
- WP1 Co-develop approach, working close with UKRI and the 4-8 intervention teams;
- WP2 Collaboratively working with delivery partners to implement the approach;
- WP3 Analysis and reporting (e.g. baseline, mid-point, end-point);
- WP4 Call-off contract for expertise support (defined by time period, skills and #days).
The services required will include support with:
- The creation of a meta-analysis of published data to produce a report on the estimated health economic and total economic burden for the UK in aggregate and by devolved nation.
- The development, in collaboration with the Health Mission team, innovation and intervention 'owners' and lead investigators, of appropriate health economic metrics to capture for each real-world clinical evaluation.
- The provision of a comprehensive health and wider economic analysis of the outputs from the individual intervention or innovation real world evaluation studies.
- The provision of a report that aggregates the health economic lessons from the real-world clinical evaluation and build a model of their impact were they to be adopted as a standard of care in the NHS across the UK
- The provision of consulting services to additional work packages as agreed with the Health Mission team from time to time.
