The Works
The works for this project involve the infrastructure works relating to the Weyside Urban Village Phases 1 and 3 development plots. In summary, the Works under this Contract will comprise:
| • | Necessary surveys, and investigations and monitoring. |
| • | Demolition of remaining buildings (including the existing Guildford Council Depot) |
| • | Vegetation clearance, tree felling and site strip |
| • | Topsoil stripping |
| • | Sitewide remediation of contamination (where required) |
| • | Site platform and levelling |
| • | Drainage infrastructure, pipework, manholes, attenuation tanking, petrol interceptors |
| • | Swales and attenuation basins |
| • | Surface water outfalls |
| • | Utility infrastructure, ducting, chambers, pipework |
| • | Highway formations |
| • | Signage, markings, street furniture, street lighting |
| • | Non-motorised Vehicles works, encompassing various pedestrian and cycle path improvements |
| • | S278 Junction Works |
| • | Maintain the reptile translocation fencing and associated inspections |
