description
The Department for Education has awarded Rutland County Council (RCC), a grant to deliver a development plan, in the next six months, which will prepare RCC to be ready to mobilise a Best Start in Life Family Hub (BSILFH) and Home Learning Environment (HLE), programme by March 2026 RCC will be expected to deliver against key performance targets set by the DfE which will require creative solutions that are both sustainable and adaptable to children's and family needs. The service will work with families and early years providers to test out developments in existing services and create new interventions to improve both child development and home learning.
The Council is looking for a provider that can help with this development phase. The development phase will test new and enhanced activity and approaches, to promote and deliver home learning opportunities and practice for families and early years settings. The development phase has a stringent timescale and will require the provider to be ready to design and deliver new programmes, in partnership with families and local stakeholders, and have a thorough understanding of the Early Education provision in Rutland and how it can improve home learning through relationships with these settings as well as bespoke types of intervention.
