Housing 21 is a leading, not-for-profit provider of Retirement Living and Extra Care for older people of modest means. We have more than 60 years’ experience and operate in 215 local authority areas, managing 24,000 properties and providing over 49,000 hours of in-house social care each week. www.housing21.org.uk Cohousing is our most recent initiative for Housing 21 which aims to promote the benefits of living as part of a community, but with the privacy of individual homes.
We are proud to be the first local housing association to produce a Cohousing Strategy, which outlines how we plan to deliver cohousing schemes for older people In particular, we are keen to focus on areas of diverse ethnic backgrounds, where accessing quality, purpose-built housing can often be more of a challenge.
With this in mind, we are seeking ‘Expressions of Interest’ (EOI) from experienced providers, preferably familiar with the Midlands area, with a proven capability of successfully delivering and reporting on the Social Value Impact on Co-Housing.
In the first instance, providers who are interested are invited to down load the document pack and follow the instructions how to respond
The full scope of services is set out in the specification including information about how return information will be considered and assessed
Please note this is below UK threshold opportunity.
