Brief Description of Requirement
In a collaboration between BAS and UCL, an instrument was developed called ApRES, which is a radar system for glaciological research. UCL's contribution was the development of the radar board component; BAS' was to turn it into a field-usable instrument. ApRES has been widely used in the glaciological community ever since.
