This will be a 15-year concession contract (plus 1) to enable the transition to Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEV) in line with local, regional, national, and global objectives and facilitating the shift from the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles to EV across Swindon Borough. Swindon Borough is going out to procure the design, supply, installation, operation, and maintenance, of local electric vehicle charging point infrastructure. This is enabled by the LEVI Fund, from which Swindon Borough Council has been awarded £1.942 million in capital funding.

The outcome from this procurement include a network suitable to equitably meet the demand for residents' EV charging needs.
