Maintenance & Installation of Traffic Control and Associated Equipment

Leicester City Council is seeking to let a contract for the maintenance, renewal & installation of traffic signals and associated equipment for Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council or on those highways maintained under agreement by Leicester City Council

Leicester City Council under agreement with Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council is responsible for the maintenance of traffic signals throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Contract will be formed of core and additional services. Core Services will be required throughout the whole term of the contract and will be used by all 3 named authorities and the works generally consists of routine maintenance and annual inspections of traffic signal and associated communications equipment, together with the switch off or on of traffic signals for utility works as directed.

The Contract is for the supply of all labour, plant, equipment, materials (where appropriate), tools and spare components for all items and any ancillary equipment forming part of the listed installations.
