description
The aim of the pilot is to provide a digital offer to Service Users, providing benefits across three key features:
- Digital platform containing information and support materials and enabling access to (National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training) NSCST trained Stop Smoking Advisors.
- Access to behavioural support from NCSCT trained advisors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Service user choice of stop smoking aid; Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) or starter vape, delivered direct to the service user to support their quit attempt.
This service is complementary to traditional services e.g. the Local Stop Smoking Services and the Stop Smoking London offer, increasing overall capacity within the system. The intention is to increase the number of successful quit attempts and capture this within the NHS Digital data set.
