The aim of Slough Children First is to engage providers initially and then admit experienced providers to be on the provider list for Short Breaks Service for Children.An early engagement, market event is being held on Wednesday 12 September 2023 at midday - please email commissioning@sloughchildrenfirst.co.uk for Microsoft Teams joining instructions.Slough Children First is seeking providers of Children Short Breaks, who can offer a range of support options to meet individual needs. Short breaks are currently provided to children and young people with special educational needs and or a disability. Short breaks are offered to children and young people to allow them to reach their full potential as well as ensuring their parents and carers have a break from their caring role. A short break can take many forms and Slough Children First currently provide supported short breaks after school, at weekends, in the holidays and sometimes overnight.
