Software as a Service (SaaS) Management Platform - Request for Information (RFI)

The BBC would welcome responses to this RFI in order to inform our thinking prior to any potential procurement exercise.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to provide the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) with information from the market to identify potential providers that have the capability to support the BBC’s growing SaaS provision.

The BBC is seeking to understand the availability of SaaS management tools that can provide capabilities in the following areas, but not limited to:

• SaaS Discovery and Usage Analytics
• Manage Common SaaS App Config and Policy
• Compliance Entitlement & Cost Optimization
• Security and Protection of Data and Identity
• Automation and Orchestration of common tasks, for example on/off Boarding Workflow triggered tasks, pre-set Templates
• Dashboards, Insights, Reports, Alerts etc
• Integrate via APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and future SaaS products
• After sales service & support

With a large estate of products and services, the BBC would like to be able to have a clear view on where best to focus efforts, supporting and building on our current levels of maturity within the organisation; helping to focus the organisation on optimisation and control of product usage and associated operating costs.
