| Staffordshire Moorlands District Council have been allocated funding from the | UK Shared Prosperity Fund for the purposes of: | |
| 1. | the development and promotion of wider campaigns which encourage people to visit and, | |
| 2. | the development and promotion (both trade and consumer) of the visitor economy | |
| The UK government Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities | (DLUHC) has launched the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) which | succeeds the European Union structural funds (ERDF and ESF). |
| The primary goal of the UKSPF is to build pride in place and increase life | chances across the UK. There are three UKSPF investment priorities:- | |
| • | Communities and place; | |
| • | Supporting local business; and | |
| • | People and skills |
