TPE has commenced a procurement process with potential manufacturers for the supply of new trains for use in passenger service and the provision of maintenance services.
The scope of that procurement covers;
| (a) | new rolling stock (the "Units") for use in passenger revenue earning passenger service on the TPE Routes; |
| (b) | associated spares, special equipment and tooling (the "Associated Equipment"); |
| (c) | full servicing, maintenance and overhaul services in respect of the Equipment, on the basis of the TSA (the "Maintenance Services"); and |
| (d) | potential new train maintenance depot facilities to support delivery of the TSA |
