Community based Hospices based in North East London for Adult service users.
Providing high quality end of life and palliative care to all adult patients living in their last phase of life (usually patients with confirmed end stage conditions and terminal illness such as cancer).
Key requirements of the service include:
-Operate an inpatient bed Hospice facility in the community in the North East London area with supporting services operating from the established base such as hospice at home, day services and other end of life support services; -Assessment;
-Symptom control & involvement in treatment decisions;
-Advice and care in all settings;
-Coordinated home support to enable patients to stay at home for as long as appropriate;
-Day care services;
-Family support;
- Provision of a 24 hour help line
-Bereavement support where the deceased patient has been under the care of the Hospice; and
-Education and training.

- St Francis Hospice £3,079,247 per annum
- St Joseph's Hospice £7,858,444 per annum
