description
UKAEA wishes to engage with potential glovebox manufacturers and suppliers for the provision of 20-off non-nuclear type gloveboxes and associated components to act as secondary containment for tritium process equipment. These gloveboxes will be utilised in a number of sub-systems that will make up the Tritium Plant located within the new H3AT Facility currently in construction on the UKAEA Culham site.
Through this process we are looking to open-up the engagement for suppliers with the aim of ensuring there is sufficient production capability and capacity to meet project timelines and design requirements.
After the engagement exercise, UKAEA intend to issue an Invitation to Tender through the EU Supply and Find a Tender portals (replacement to Tenders Electronic Daily) to procure services for design and provision of equipment through competitively tendered contracts.
