CONTRACT FOR FURNITURE, FIXTURES AND FITTINGS

The Council and its ancillary arms (such as arm’s length bodies and/or wholly or partly owned subsidiaries and partner organisations) require a provider to provide good quality, safe, range and value for money Furniture, Fixtures and Fittings for its Early Years Educations Settings and Temporary Residential Accommodation This service is provided as part of the Authority’s legal and statutory obligation to provide the necessary equipment and services to support its vulnerable residents of varying age groups as prescribed by these legislations:

The provision of this Contract is to ensure that the Authority and its ancillary arms (such as arm’s length bodies and/or wholly or partly owned subsidiaries and partner organisations) provides good quality, safe, range and value for money Furniture, Fixtures and Fittings to its Early Years Educations Settings and Temporary Residential Accommodation including but not limited to the hostels and temporary voids units acquired for use as temporary accommodation as part of the Authority’s legal and statutory obligation to provide the necessary equipment and services to support all its vulnerable residents of varying age groups The Authority is tendering for Furniture, Fixtures and Fittings requirements for Lots as follows:

Lot 1 - Window Protection and Covering

Lot 2 - Outdoor Equipment Protection and Covering

Lot 3 - Indoor Equipment Protection and Heuristic Play

Lot 4 - Indoor Staff and Reception Room Furniture

Lot 5 - Residential Accommodation Furniture – including living and dining

The Contractors shall deliver the service to the Authority covering multiple locations around Borough.

The contract is for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a period of up to 1 year
