The Council is conducting the procurement exercise under the Light Touch Regime (LTR) Design Procedure in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) and the Public Procurement (Amendments, Repeals and Revocations) Regulations 2016.The Council wishes to establish Contracts for the provision of local Neighbourhood Network Schemes (NNS), which supports the Council’s priority of moving from a crisis response to prevention. Adult Social Care’s Vision (2020) is to enable citizens to live independently within their own homes and communities. Neighbourhood Networks Schemes (NNS) are therefore designed to enable engagement with and investment in community assets. The schemes are Constituency based networks which are aligned to individual community social work teams. Their purpose is to support citizens to connect to individuals, groups, organisations, activities, services, and places in their neighbourhoods.
