Lease agreement for the Supply and Delivery of Tractors, Mowers and Utility Vehicles for Grounds Services

The Grounds Team are responsible for the maintenance of all the grassed areas including the Sports Fields, the Woodlands and the formal Parks. The University is inviting Tenders to appoint a company to provide on a four (4) year lease agreement basis (2 years+2years suitable equipment for all year- round usage, seasonal grass cutting, seasonal leaf collection, snow clearance and salt gritting, as appropriate for the equipment.

Type1 Tractor- 1 x 4wd Tractor (100hp), Front end loader, Bucket, Pallet forks and Grab, 2 x D/A Spool Valves & Return Pipe, Floatation turf tyres, Beacons, RFL & Registration, Loader to have counter- weight and be capable of lifting greater than 1.5 tonne and with a quick hitch. Mainly used for loading skips, gritters , could be used for mowing grass.

Type 2 Tractor- 1 x 4wd Tractor (100hp), Front Linkage System, 3 x D/A Spool Valves & Return Pipe, 1x D/A spool valves and return pipe on the front; Flotation turf tyres, Beacons, RFL & Registration and with a quick hitch. Has snow plough, gritter and trailer. Collection of leaves and mowing grass.

Type 3 Tractor - 1 x 4wd Tractor (52hp), 3 x D/A Spool Valves & Return Pipe, Flotation turf tyres, Beacons, IQ gear box or equivalent, RFL & Registration and a minimum lift capacity on 'ball end' 1200kg. Mainly gritting , mowing and trailer work. Collection of leaves.

1. x Ride on Mower (26hp), 54" cutting deck, High tip grass collection system, Operator roll over protection, Turf tyres, Beacons, RFL & Registration. Mainly used for seasonal mowing
1. x Rigid Deck Roller Mower, 2.4m Cutting Width, Power required 40hp, cutting height range 10-100mm, Cutting spindles 4off and Work-rate at 12mph - 9.8 acres/hr. Mainly used for seasonal mowing.
1. x Zero Turn Ride on Mower (26hp), 60" cutting width, Operator roll over protection, Rear discharge deck, Turf tyres, Beacons, RFL & Registration and Independent suspension to be fitted. Mainly used for seasonal mowing
3. x RTV: 2wd / 4wd Utility Vehicles, 400cc, 2- person capacity, Road tyres, Adjustable load bed, Front & Rear hitch, Glass windscreen (front and rear) and metal roof, Cab must have lockable doors, Windshield wipers, Radios and heaters for cab, Beacons, RFL & Registration, and Capable of carrying Meyer Salt Spreader. Model No: LPV3 KERLPLUS Low Profile. All small work, with trailer and gritters used.
