New statutory responsibilities have been placed on local authorities under the new Domestic Abuse Act which came into law in April 2021. Northumberland County Council has sought to meet these duties in relation to domestic abuse for victims, perpetrators and children through commissioning a service to help reduce the incidents and impact of domestic abuse.
The contract will comprise the following 5 Lots:
Lot 1: Domestic Abuse Support Service Northumberland
Lot 2: Northumberland Children’s Domestic Abuse Therapeutic and Outreach Service
Lot 3: Northumberland’s Behaviour Change Service
Lot 4: Provision for Domestic Abuse Services in Rural Northumberland
Lot 5: Counselling Service for adults of Domestic Abuse
