Landfill Related Services across 3 Landfill Sites in Mid Ulster District Council Area

The Council invites competent and experienced Contractors to submit a tender on a fixed price basis for the following Lots: • Lot 1 - Leachate Haulage – the contract is for tankering of leachate from the 3 sites to a number of treatment facilities. • Lot 2 - Environmental Monitoring - to collect water samples and arrange for their testing at a UKAS accredited laboratory in addition to other monitoring and reporting duties. • Lot 3 - Plant Hire – to allow for the hire of various items of plant (including trained operator, fuel and maintenance) for use in at the 3 landfill sites and for loading waste at the transfer station. • Lot 4 - Plant Hire (Machine Only) – to allow for the hire of various items of plant to be used by trained on-site personnel for use in mothballing operations, landscaping and drainage works. • Lot 5 – Mechanical and Electrical Services – to allow for some minor leachate plant capital works as well as ongoing maintenance of the sites mechanical and electrical infrastructure. • Lot 6 – Landfill Gas Related Services – to allow for bi-annual servicing of the Ballymacombs flare, trace gas analysis of the flue gases and the servicing and calibration of the sites landfill gas monitors. • Lot 7 – Fencing - to allow for fencing works to maintain and replace existing site security fencing.
