Warrington Borough Council invites you to tender for a framework for the delivery of the Council’s programme of Highway Capital Works within the Borough of Warrington.

The framework term is two years commencing on 5 July 2021, with optional extensions of two 12 months periods by mutual agreement.

The Conditions of Contract for the framework will be the NEC Framework Contract. Work Packages will be issued in accordance with the NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Option B – Priced Contract with Bill of Quantities.

One contractor will be appointed to this framework, and will be expected to assist the Council in the management of the programme of projects to be delivered in each year.

Typical works to be procured in this framework include

  • highway improvement works on carriageways and footways
  • construction of new assets
  • traffic signal installations and renewal
  • environmental works
  • streetscape works
