For the provision of Opportunity Area KS1 & KS2 School Improvement Programmes

Derby's Primary Strategy Group (PSG) is working closely with the primary schools and early years providers in the city, and the Derby Opportunity Area Board. The PSG is seeking interest from providers who can deliver the programme outlined within the specification.

Derby City's community of schools are ambitious about wanting all young people to secure great outcomes and are actively working in a 'Partnership led system'. This is an approach whereby all partners are clear about their respective roles in securing great outcomes for children and young people, that the city's priorities are properly identified and translated in to the right actions for settings, schools and their children.

The Primary Strategy Group (PSG) is a group of interested stakeholders from primary schools, early years providers, public health, early help services and a health commissioner. The city council is working on behalf of PSG and the local Opportunity Area Board by seeking tenders for five different development programmes from interested parties who have a successful track record of system leadership and improving outcomes for children at key stages 1 and 2.

There are five separate Lots as follows:

• Lot 1 - improving outcomes for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 in Reading.

• Lot 2 - improving outcomes for children in Key Stages 1 & 2 in Writing.

Please note suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation must do so by 23:30 on 17/09/2020. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a bid.
