Workers' Educational Association - Provision of ICT Outsourcing Services

The WEA has a contract with its current supplier to provide general hosting and ICT support services to its workforce. The contract is due to expire in January 2018. The WEA's ICT infrastructure is currently primarily based on Microsoft software and Dell hardware for servers. PC's and Laptops the organisation uses have been provided by a variety of manufacturers. The WEA owns all of its servers and end-user computers.

The WEA currently operates from some forty offices in England and Scotland. The main Regional centres hosting a server are at the following geographical locations; Leeds, London, Bristol, Rochester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leicester, and Edinburgh.

WEA is currently in the process of seeking expressions of interest for the following project; Provision of ICT Services. The tender process is a two stage process; Stage 1: Standard Questionnaire Stage 2: Invitation to Tender for successful bidders.

WEA to respond to Stage 1 Clarifications by: 15th September 2017

Standard selection Questionnaire return date: 9th October 2017

Invitation to Tender issue date to shortlisted suppliers: 23rd October 2017
