description
Warwickshire County Council (WCC) and Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group (CRCCG) are leading a programme of engagement regarding the Mental Health Telephone Helpline and Webchat for Coventry and Warwickshire. A survey and face to face engagement was recently undertaken with professionals and the general public (including users of the service and potential users of the service) and will help us to review the service and help plan the best service in the future.
As part of the engagement we are also keen to hear from providers about their thoughts concerning this type of service, including whether this type of service meets customer needs or if there is a new and/or innovative way of providing the service. Please complete and return the enclosed market testing questionnaire.
The current service offers emotional support, guidance and information, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year across Coventry and Warwickshire. This is delivered through a 24/7 freephone telephone helpline, with a webchat option. The telephone helpline consists of a team of trained and experienced support workers who use counselling skills to provide emotional guidance and information. The webchat service is an online service which provides an easy way to communicate with the helpline staff for those who are not comfortable talking on the telephone. Individuals communicate online to the same highly skilled staff and receive the same level of service and support as provided through the helpline.
WCC and CRCCG would like to offer existing and potential providers to a meeting with Commissioners. The purpose of this is to discuss and explore opportunities to improve on current service delivery. WCC and CRCCG are particularly interested in innovative ways to improve the wellbeing of people experiencing mental health issues.
Tuesday 16th July 2019 between 11.30am and 3pm in Warwick.
If all time slots are booked on Tuesday 16th July, Monday 15th July (am) will be offered (in Warwick).
