description

The new facility is to include general male and female toilets, Changing Places facility, gender neutral toilet, accessible toilets and a family room.

The site forms part of a public car park and therefore when pricing the risks associated with this must be taken into account.

The site is located close to the entrance to the Vicarage Street car park. The new building whilst larger will sit in a similar location to the existing small toilet block. It is understood that this is modular pre-fabricated structure that has been overclad and had a pantile roof over. A ramp accesses the block with a privacy fence erected in front.

The car park will be open for duration of the works and contactor is to allow measures to ensure safe passage for vehicles and pedestrian traffic into the car park.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
