description

The Council aims to work with a range of suitable providers who can support 16+ Older Looked After Children and Care Leavers.

We aim to develop a new 16+ Older Looked After and Care Leavers model in order to deliver strategic commissioning aims and objectives; to support the transition of young people to live independently, to provide the pathway for socially affordable housing locally, align with the guidance issued by the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government and to support WSCC Local Offer for Care Leavers.

These services will focus on delivering positive outcomes for children and young people, so that they can lead safe, independent and fulfilled lives.

The Council is proposing to reach out to the market to develop a compliant and effective solution for delivery of these services via a tender process. It is likely that a solution will be put in place in the form of a Pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System (P-DPS).

Please see attached document for full details.
