description
Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) has a duty to ensure that there is sufficient high quality childcare provision within the County to enable parents to access work and training and prepare children for school. The Council also distributes funding for childcare for eligible children.
As part of these duties the Council utilises purpose built childcare accommodation within or attached to its properties or schools throughout the County.
Providers from the private, voluntary and independent sector (PVI), Academy Schools and childminders are invited to submit tenders to establish childcare provision within a purpose- built Council owned and maintained property, to enable the Council to fulfil its' statutory duties to provide funded childcare and early education.
