This is an invitation to ascertain if there are interested parties in delivering the following:
NHS England( South) are considering tendering for the services for a clinical consultant/ adviser to work with commissioners on the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Programme across the South of England and London. It is likely that this work with take between 30 and 50 days.
Tasks to include, but not limited to:
National
| • | Develop quality standards for the community based services in the OPD pathway |
| • | Act as one of a number of clinical advisors to the OPD programme |
| • | Support the further development of the OPD programme approach to case formulation |
| • | Review the work undertaken in Approved Premises as a part of the OPD pathway community specification and recommend a consistent, deliverable, affordable approach to this area of work |
South of England
| • | Work with community providers in the South of England and Wales to develop more consistent approaches to decision making in relation to the OPD programme entry criteria |
| • | Support the development of the sex offender pathway in the South of England with specific focus on the community elements |
| • | Provide expert clinical consultation services to clinical staff delivering case consultation and formulations in the community and prisons |
| • | Other tasks may be identified and agreed with the consultant as the programme develops. |
