Quotation for the provision of insurance brokerage and risk financing review services

Peterborough City Council is inviting quotations for the provision of insurance broker and risk funding review services for a period of 5 years, with effect from 1st November 2018, with a break clause at 3 years.

The requirements for this contract are set out below.

• Provision of clear and decisive advice
• Full compliance with Financial Services Authority Regulations in all transactional aspects relating to insurance contracts and their procurement
• Compliance with European Community and Public Services Contracts regulations during all procurement works undertaken as part of the contract
• Professional standards and competence, commensurate with the difficulty, and importance of the work
• Availability of suitably qualified and experienced staff during normal office hours for consultation and instruction
• Continuity of personnel
• Prompt acknowledgement of instructions
• Response times for transactional work to be as agreed for each individual brief, otherwise response time shall follow the following requirements:
• a)respond to request for urgent advice made by phone or fax within 3 hours
• b)respond to request for urgent advice made by email or letter 1 working day
• c)respond to a normal request for advice made by phone or fax 3 working days
• d)respond to a normal request for advice by email or letter 5 working days

• Ability to work within the agreed cost ceiling and timescales
• Integrated team-working by supplier staff with Council staff
• Attendance at contract review and other appropriate meetings at mutually convenient times
