Warwickshire CC are seeking to commission a single provider produce a new Warwick-shire Needs Assessment for Children and Young People with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
The provider will work with local stakeholders to produce a new Needs Assessment for Children and Young People (age 0-25) with SEND in Warwickshire, in line with the SEND Code of Practice 2014 (specifically, Chapter 3).
The Needs Assessment will present the following information:
- oNational, legal and local context
- oThe views of Warwickshire's children, young people, parents and carers (using existing information where this is available)
- oThe current and future needs of Warwickshire's children and young people (age 0-25) with SEND, including prevalence and comparison with statistical neighbours, and consideration of equality and diversity
- oCurrent and forecast demand on the local offer of education, health and care services and settings over the short, medium and long-term
- oRecommendations for commissioners, including any identified gaps in provision or areas for development where services might be required to adapt to a changing pro-file of needs
