C15068 Sonar and Associated Equipment

The Authority wishes to procure sonar equipment and associated software to be used in conjunction with its Water Safety Teams to aid in the search and rescue of victims who are submerged in water. The Authority intends to meet this requirement by utilising differing types of sonar devices, a side scanning sonar towed by the water craft initially to conduct search and rescue operations and a multi-beam sonar capable of being pole mounted for use in restricted areas and also to support initial sonar searches. The total quantity of sonars and associated equipment that forms this request for quotation is two complete sets of the following:- Side scanning sonar Multi Beam sonar GPS unit Interface Top Box for each sonar Software package for each sonar Portable battery pack x 2 Ancillary equipment as required to meet the full RFQ specification
