HELIXscope is a new suite of online tools for data visualising climate research data at map scales relevant to the user that is visually attractive, easily useable and understandable. Its purpose is to maximise and give access to iterative exploring and making sense of high-end climate impact scenarios, models and uncertainties that are relevant to user needs and understanding.

Bidders are asked to develop a web and mobile application that presents selected data at the country level to allow testing of the user experience. Second, use feedback to modify the app, which will then be populated with more data and will work with lower level administrative boundaries. The application is not a static display of fixed images but a data visualisation tool that actually takes underlying DATA and turns it into MAPS and GRAPHICS.

Bidders are invited to make suggestions and improvements other than what is stated in the specification. If so, the costing and added value should be included.
