Approved Provider Public Health Responsibility Deal (Physical Activity)

The Southend Public Health Responsibility Deal aims to tap into the potential for businesses and other influential organisations to make a significant contribution to improving public health by helping us to create this environment. There are currently over 100 organisations signed up to the Deal in Southend.

Organisations signing up to the Responsibility Deal commit to taking action voluntarily to improve public health through their responsibilities as employers, as well as through their commercial actions and community activities. Organisations can sign up to be either national partners or local partners. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (SBC) are canvassing local businesses to sign up to the Southend Public Health Responsibility Deal and driving this through the pump-prime funding of initiatives supporting good nutrition.

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is inviting quotation proposals from suitably qualified and experienced organisations or consortia to become Approved Providers to deliver physical activity programmes across the borough for organisations who have signed up to the Southend Public Health Responsibility Deal.
