Upham Road and Lydiard House Recoating of Roof Coverings Swindon Borough Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of remedial works and over painting of existing profile metal roofs at two separate properties within the Borough of Swindon. The Works will be divided into three Lots as detailed in the following table: LOT Description Estimated Budget Minimum 2014/15 Turn over Requirements 1 Upham Rd Adult Training Centre only. £60,000 £120,000 2 Lydiard House (Management Centre) only. £60,000 £120,000 3 Lots 1 & 2 combined £120,000 £240,000 The contractor will be required to undertake all the necessary work to repair recoat the roofs identified with an agreed system. This is expected to include site survey, repair of existing roof surfaces, cleaning, application of system, making good on completion and an insurance backed 20 year material guarantee. Bids are invited for one or more of the above Lots. Each Lot will be evaluated separately against the award criteria set out in the Invitation to Tender. See Clause 13. Scope of Evaluation. The evaluation of tenders will be based on 70% price 30% quality. Notification of intent and clarifications to the tender may be submitted up to 12 noon local UK time on Friday 13th November 2015 by email to Steve Langley at slangley@swindon.gov.uk or Sophie Hayward at shayward2@swindon.gov.uk All clarifications relating to the tender will be posted on the Supplying The South West portal and contractors will be required to check on a regular basis.
