East Sussex CCGs (the Commissioner) are looking to outsource the processing of 270 retrospective claims for continuing healthcare. The Commissioner is looking for a suitably qualified provider who can deliver to a high quality standard, to an affordable budget and within the required timescale.
The Commissioner is considering two options for outsourcing service delivery:
- Partial outsourcing
- Full outsourcing
Details of each approach are described in background and RFI document in the attachments section of this notice.
The RFI aims to gather information to inform the commissioning process for that outsourcing. The Commissioner is inviting potential providers to describe their capability and capacity to deliver the service. Based on the outcome of the engagement, the Commissioner will determine the commissioning approach and the appropriate procurement strategy.
The Commissioner is supported and advised in this work by NHS South East CSU (SECSU) and its procurement partner NHS Commercial Solutions (NHSCS).
