description

Wakefield District is the 54th most deprived district in England (out of 317), with an adult population of around 280,000. It is an increasingly diverse district with many different communities and neighbourhoods within it. To serve the population effectively, commission services appropriately and ultimately achieve improved outcomes for residents, it is important for all partners of the Wakefield Health and Wellbeing Board to engage with the resident population so that we can understand their needs, perceptions, attitudes and behaviours.

Wakefield Council is seeking to procure a provider to deliver an adult population health and wellbeing survey. The Service Specification provides a framework which will contribute to the outcomes and objectives the Council wishes to achieve through the commissioning of the Service rather than a detailed service description. The commissioning of this Service is being undertaken by the Public Health Intelligence Team. The Provider is responsible for all costs associated with the provision of the service as set out in the Specification and the Contract.
