The Council wishes to appoint an independent medical examiner to provide advice on the medical conditions of applicants to help determine; their physical need for rehousing; and or their mental health need for rehousing. If their physical or mental health conditions would make them vulnerable as defined under homeless legislation and/or if an applicant’s medical conditions would make their current property unsuitable for their needs.
