Construction of a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) and extension to staff carpark at Burwood Beacon Academy, Avalon Road, Orpington, Kent BR6 9BD including external lighting and surface water drainage work.

The proposed works are shown on the existing and proposed drawings issued with the PQQ.

The works comprise the construction of a new MUGA on an existing playing field, with tarmacadam surface and fencing, plus, the extension and resurfacing of the existing staff carpark/footpaths, including all associated groundworks, landscaping, lighting and surface water drainage works.

The contractor's works will include completion of the detailed design beyond RIBA Stage 4 and construction under the JCT Design & Build 2011.

Works will be undertaken within a part occupied primary school site, during the 2017 summer holiday period.

Appointment of the successful contractor is anticipated in June 2017 with completion of the works by 1st September 2017
