Bristol City Council's Energy Service is engaging the market in order to tender for an Energy Centre at its offices in Bristol City Centre. This tender comprises the supply and installation of new gas boilers and a gas Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit.
BCC is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the supply, installation and commissioning of the CHP, gas boiler heating plant and associated equipment within the existing basement plant rooms at 100 Temple Street. This will include integration to existing systems within the building as well as heat export to the local heat network. The scope of work also includes the electrical connection from the CHP unit to the existing HV system which supplies on site demand and connection to the local distribution network.
We invite all interested contractors to a supplier's information event on Friday the 5th of April from 10:00 to 13:00 and recommend that this event is attended if you intend to bid.
The Project team will explain the processes and specialist tasks required for high quality delivery of this project, and the form of tender and contract we will use. Please indicate your availability to attend the information session. Please be advised that a maximum of 2 representatives from each organisation will be allowed due to space restrictions.
