description
Dyfed Powys Police are inviting expressions of interest in relation to the supply of a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The RIB will operate as a patrol vessel and will have counter terrorism responsibilities and must have the ability to:
| • | Respond to emergencies at high speed – 40-50 knots |
| • | Seat 6-8 firearms officers |
| • | Pace other vessels |
| • | Lock onto other vessels |
| • | Deploy firearms officers onto ships, ladders, jetties and other marine structures. |
The vessel may also provide support and respond to marine emergencies in the region.
The vessel will operate in and around the Milford Haven Waterway and the coastal approaches.
