description

Plymouth City Council (PCC) is exploring options for the provision of works and services to deliver maintenance services in relation to Street Lighting and Traffic Signals.

Plymouth City Council (PCC) has c. 37 000 Street Lighting Assets and 169 Traffic Signals, all within a 6 mile radius of each other.

The total range of maintenance and repair works and services (both Capital and Revenue) have a projected annualised spend of c.1 000 000 GBP.

PCC would like to hear from organisations with relevant experience in delivery of similar services. PCC is keen to seek the early views of market participants on potential service delivery models available to the Council. Information will assist PCC to identify preferred option(s) and help the Council in the planning the re-procurement exercise.

PCC anticipate that the procurement will commence in the coming months with an anticipated start date for the new Contract in April 2018.
