description
The National Lottery Promotions Unit (NLPU) wish to secure the services of an agency to create several short videos featuring the winners of the National Lottery Awards 2020. We anticipate there will be between 8 and 10 winners whose stories should be captured.
The National Lottery Awards are the annual search for the UK's favourite National Lottery funded people and projects. For 2020, the Awards will focus on celebrating individuals (rather than projects), who have gone above and beyond to help and support their community during the Covid-19 pandemic or at any time.
Winners will be selected by members of the National Lottery family having been nominated by the public or National Lottery distributors.
An Awards ceremony will not be going ahead this year, therefore, the winners' films will be used primarily on digital platforms such as websites and social channels. In addition, the videos will be made available for the media to use for broadcast. The scope of this contract will include the commissioning of a video production agency to create some emotive, engaging, shareable, relevant and fun content to highlight and celebrate the winning individuals who receive a National Lottery Award.
Due to the ever-evolving situation, it is unclear how these videos will be filmed, so we are looking for an agency who can adapt to this and can create the content in different ways - whether that be remotely directing self-filming, or having the facilities and/or capabilities to be able to film the project with a appropriate social distancing measures in place, along with the inclusion of any relevant b-roll, and edited into an engaging film telling the story of these extraordinary individual. Moreover, winners could come from any part of the UK.
The available budget for this project is £40,000 including VAT for between eight and 10 films and up to £120,000 for a possible 3-year contract.
